Squat was weird today.  None of my heavy warm up sets felt very tight. Everything felt pretty loose on the eccentric.  So I was fairly surprised that I was able to put up 425 with relative ease.  I actually think I had 430 maaaybe 435 in the tank, but I was under a time crunch and I didn't want to take the 5 minute rest it would have required to give it a shot.  I switched to leg press today instead of back squats for the back off sets because I just wanted a little less mentally straining exercise today.  I actually liked it.  I felt it in the quads very good and the last few sets were very difficult.  I won't do these often as back squats will still be my go to movement, but I wouldn't hesitate to throw in the leg press now and then. 

I'd really like to be able to do some conditioning work, but my toe has been fucked up for a little while and it still is.  The walk this morning probably wasn't the best idea.  I'm probably going to have to start doing a lot of BB complexes for conditioning so I don't get fat.
